I have a concern about the current plan for KstView. If you have a plotted curve, and you create a KstView for it, the interpolation rules of the KstView won't be synced with the interpolation rules of the curve. So analysis on the KstView might give you results which don't agree with the curve which you see in your plot (and which you think that you are analyzing).

I would add 141597, which is clearly perceived as a regression (you could previously change data files without worrying about dependents, they would be cleanly updated). Automatic handling of the update of dependents (equations, plugins, etc) is actually one of the differentiating features of kst !
<br>I must admit I'm a bit confused as to the status of this, though. My "old" test file (the one I attached to the report) still leads to equations not being updated automatically, but as soon as I edit them they seem to get fixed. I have the feeling that the problem has been fixed, though I'm not entirely sure and I haven't tested plugins. Could someone please cross-check ?
