There again, I can only answer for cdf: I'd say port it. But it was very
close to netCDF (before I started integrating metadata support into
netCDF...), so I guess it's easier to take the original version of
netCDF for kst2, and patch it to make it read CDF using a diff between
the kst1 datasources.

For the other datasources, I have no idea what they really are and if
they are still useful. I personally never use them.
