It seems that TDMS files are not well supported on Linux and Mac, see
http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/TDMS-on-Mac/td-p/547927. Is it an option to only include support
for TDMS files under Windows? In this case the TDMS C dll would only be distributed with the
windows version of kst.

It makes a lot of sense for kst to support one or the other (ASCII exports from NI or TDMS). I
personally would get much more benefit from TDMS support. I also think that TDMS support would
attract a lot of interest from other NI users.

On the issue of the licence agreement I could start a discussion on the NI forum to clarify the issue.
