KPhotoalbum uses Phonon for playing videos. Maybe choosing a different phonon <br>
backend could help? Does the video play fine in e.g. kphononplayer?<br><br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>Thank you for the prompt reply. I managed to make it work after I installed kmplayer and phonon4qt5-backend-gstreamer. The latter also removed a package phonon4qt5-backend-null which probably caused the problems.
