I did some more research on this, the following is the outcome:<br><br>- It seems this happens only in certain situations, not on default installations<br>- it seems somehow the keyboard shortcuts for the kipi-plugins are set as "global" shortscuts in addition to the normal "local" shortcuts in KIPI/KPhotoAlbum<br>
- My Ticket is actually a duplicate of Ticket <a href="https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=196902">https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=196902</a><br>- Changing the assignment in the global KDE settings dialog did not work for me, it did re-display the old assignment again afterwards<br>
- Also changing the assignment of the "global" shortcuts (the third column) to "none" in the settings for keyboard shortcuts in KPA is reverted back as soon as I restart KPA, why that is I cannot understand.<br>
<br>so I am stuck here, there are all the options to change these assignments available everywhere, but none work, which is very annoying :(<br><br>Thanks... I just tried this and couldn't see it.<br>
I have KPA 4.1.1 compiled locally from source; running on Suse 11.2 (32<br>
Bit) on KDE 4.3.1 "release 6".<br>
SHIFT-CTRL-Cursor-Left/Right simply does nothing, *except* if the<br>
info-bos within the image in KPA has the focus, then it moves the box.<br>
I even tried to drop down the "module" menu entry, so the KIPI plugins<br>
get loaded (and init ?).<br>

Seems to be something (more) specific to your system/setup/distro/...<br>
