On SuSE, --prefix=/opt/kde3 should be correct. Do you have the qt3-devel package installed? "rpm -q qt3-devel" will show the version if you do. If not, you need to install it (eg through Yast).<BR>

I'm not really good at these installation issues.
What I normally do in these situations is to run conifigure as
sh -x configure to see what it really does when it fails.
Anyone else how can give some input?
