I think that I found where is the problem for dates... (not the 
solution, only the problem.)
It is really a pb with locale.

The date I tried to set was "2005/12/7", which is "7 déc 2005" on my 
computer (french).
It does not work with "7 déc 2005", but it is ok with "7 dec 2005"
More : when I come back to this image, it is written : "7 déc 2005".

Same thing for this : set="7 jul 2004"  ==> display="7 jui 2004"
