ahh, sorry, i misread your version numbers. if a portsnap update caused the
issue to appear, that makes me thing it's a problem localized to FreeBSD and
that you should file a bug with them.  In a KDE session, please run
'kbuildsycoca' from a terminal window and then close kopete (killall -9 kopete,
if you have to) and restart it and see if that fixes the problem.
