Whoa, sorry about missing the first comment.

I am still having this problem with the uploaded Kubuntu Intrepid where Kopete
is 0.70.0 with KDE 4.2.1.

In the configuration under Behavior -> General I have "Open messages instantly"
selected. In Behavior -> Events I have "Enable events while away" & "Rasise
window on incoming message" selected. I do NOT use virtual screens so I only
have 1 screen.

I am testing it now and the only thing I can reproduce is that the chat window
does not get raised on a new message. If I leave the chat window open and
maximize Konsole or Firefox (to cover the chat window), it will not come up
when a new message arrives. If I minimize the chat window and a new message
arrives, the chat window DOES come up above all the other windows.

When I created this ticket I saw the chat window come up briefly a above the
other windows and then disappear. I am not able to reproduce that right now.
