The search filter in the main window does not support searching for email
address.
Yust think at this situation:
I want to search for a contact in my enormous contact list (mine is not that
big :-P ); the contact I'm searching for changes his nick and his status
message quite everyday, it's impossible to remember them; the only thing that
is always the same is his email address.
I type his email address but the search provides no resoults.
So I have to scroll the whole contact list to find him on my own.
That's frustrating...
