When using multiple tabs in the chat window, the keyboard shortcuts for
switching between the tabs don't work, if the message input box is active.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Assign keyboard shortcuts  to "Activate next" / "Activate previous" (I use
Shift+Left / Shift+Right)
2. Start chats with two contacts using one chat window with two tabs.
3. Set the focus to the message input box at the bottom.
4. Try using the shortcuts, they don't work
5. Press Shift+Tab to set the focus to a different widget than the input box.
6. The Shortcuts work, but as soon as another tab is activated, the focus is
automatically switches back to the input box.

Expected behaviour:
All assigned shortcuts should work regardless of the focused widget.
