<div><p>Kovid, Anton, Kurt, Behdad—hello :-)</p><p>Everyone else—we don't know one another but I've CC'd you just as
I'm aware of your commits to various free software projects.</p><p>The Unicode Technical Committee set up a Working Group for
dealing with the issue of BiDi and text shaping in terminals, and
the invitation to the first meeting is attached. I've taken it
upon myself with Dustin's permission to CC stakeholders I'm aware
of. There's no immediate concern—but I felt those with an interest
in this should know this is happening, and hopefully in a few
years Unicode will have an official recommendation on BiDi and
complex text shaping in VTE's.</p><p>If you already know about this issue and have no interest, I
won't email you again, this will be the only mail on the subject.
