Bug ID: 455666
Summary: Konsole doesn't work with apps installed via Homebrew
Product: konsole
Version: 22.04.2
Platform: macOS (DMG)
OS: macOS
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: emulation
Assignee: konsole-devel@kde.org
Reporter: NegativeSector@protonmail.com
Target Milestone: ---

When I tried to build some rust code using the cargo command in Kate's embedded
terminal, the shell I was using (fish) showed the command was not found.
I tried using the cargo command in Terminal.app, and it worked as expected.
I tried this in all four shells I have installed, (fish, bash, zsh, sh) so I
believe this is not a shell-specific issue. I installed rust using Homebrew,
and tried it with other apps I installed via Homebrew, and got similar results

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install homebrew using the official channels
2. Install Kate (I don't know if the bug also applies to standalone Konsole)
3. Try the brew command in Konsole (or any apps

OBSERVED RESULT
Inability to run any of the commands or even Homebrew itself

EXPECTED RESULT
Everything acting just as it was in built-in terminal Emulators

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
macOS: 12.5
(available in About System)
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0
Qt Version: 5.15.12
