To be consistent with the global shortcut used through KDE programs. Consistency is important; it lets users make usr of their existing muscle memory so they don't have to learn new shortcuts.</p>
<p>I understand that changing the default will entails some irritation for users who are used to it and haven't already changed the shortcut themselves, but it's a one-time thing for them, with an ongoing benefit for everyone going into the future.</p>
