            Bug ID: 453122
           Summary: Key sequence macros feature
           Product: konsole
           Version: 21.08.1
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: konsole-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: dav1dblunk3tt at hotmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

It would be nice to have some automation tools built into konsole.

Personally I'm really thinking of some fixed key sequences I find I have to use
in some unenlightened and unmodable applications eg "hfyhmectrl-Xyh" -

I'd like to inject these into a session using a keyboard shortcut (eg ctrl-1-0)
or from a menu.

I could see this also being scriptable with a simple screenscraper facility for
more complex things and offered as a scriptable plugin service but that's way
more complex than my simple needs!
