Was the original change reverted then?

Because the last few versions have been working fine for me and I didn't notice
your marge request was still open.

But if there's more use cases to contemplate, that your patch addresses then
yes, let's keep this issue open.

(BTW, I'm not an official KDE developer and I'm in no position to make an
executive decision about this or other issues, sorry if it seemd that way).
