[Konsole-devel] Feature request #326857: Print/Copy screen menu, bounty options

Hi All,
I just wanted to introduce myself, and discuss a feature request I've
just submitted:

I understand this is a wishlist item, and potentially quite invasive
on the current konsole menu interface, so I was hoping to start a
conversation with you (the developers) on how to best meet each others
requirements and hopefully get a favourable outcome.

As mentioned in the report, I've almost finished a large KDE desktop
rollout (we're actually in the process of preparing a piece for the
KDE news site with Jos Poortvliet on the topic), and this feature
request is one of the last missing pieces for our ideal environment.
Currently we are working around it with Ksnapshot + per user training,
but this is not ideal.

We've had previous success (as a company) with a bug resolution via
the freedomsponsors.org bounty model[1], and also with a donation
pledge (to KDE e.V.) for an Okular bug [2]. I'd like to make the same
offer here -
As with previous requests, the bounty/offer is AUD $300/200 euro/USD
$290. Upon resolution we'll happily direct this to KDE e.V., a
developer/s (via freedomsponsors.org), or donate directly to the
konsole project if such a mechanism/option exists.

Ideally, the patch will go into the main konsole codebase, but I will
consider accepting a patch only and I'll maintain an in-house fork.
