And they have common properties: they are mostly dealing with static,
persistent  and stateless objects. If you accidentally close a tab in your web
browser or file manager, it almost never makes you lose anything except for a
few seconds to reopen that tab. 

Konsole, as a terminal emulator, is dealing with totally different beasts:
dynamic, non-persistent and stateful processes running within it.
