I take no position on whether the default shortcut is a good one or not for
konsole, however Ctrl-B is a standard accelerator (e.g. also used in Konqueror
and Okular). It probably happens because it is part of a standard bookmark
class in kdelibs.

My bigger concern is that the wording in this bug report is a bit
objectionable. Remember that the developers give their time to help you, mostly
for free. If you want them to fix your issues, then it might help to be polite.

[FWIW: I use bash, and I never ctrl-b]
