First of all: yes, the size is useful, but the Konsole is part of KDE family, so it should respect SS settings. And it does not.

This is bug.

Which leads us to solution of fixing this: please provide separate option in Konsole.
Show size: respect SS, disabled, enabled

and if show size is enabled, please show it in characters (of terminal, not window!), not in pixels, because for console it is meaningless.
