Summary: copy/paste URL from Konqueror-address field into Konsole
                    should automatically cut prefix "file:/"
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: manni at nef.wh.uni-dortmund.de

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Hi,
i think it is very usefull, if the konsole cuts the prefix "file:/" (or also other prefixes) from the pasted content.

example:
copy the address/path "file:/home/user/xyz" from konqueror's address field and
paste it into the konsole-window should result in a pasting "/home/user/xyz".

This should be done for prefixes, if the pasted content is an URL.

(if people don't like the above idea, then, the konsole should at least handle
URL's. i.e. "cd file:/home/user/xyz" should _not_ result in:
bash: cd: file:/home/user/xyz: File or Directory not found.
instead, it should change the directory to the path /home/user/xyz)

Thanks..
