[Konsole-devel] Is there a way to rename a session automatically?

First off, let me say that I love Konsole. I find it very difficult to
use plain old xterm on other systems now. The tabbed sessions are a
wonderful thing. I really got used to tabs in Opera, and it only makes
sense in Konsole.

I have one question about those tabs, though: While it's possible to
rename them manually (ctrl+alt+s and so forth), is there any way to set
the sessions name automatically? I've looked on the web for a while, and
read through all the docs and couldn't find an answer.

What I'm thinking of is some sort of environment variable or something.
I'd like to be able to set the sessions name to be the hostname, like I
used to do for xterm title bars way back when. That way, I can easily see
what hosts I have sessions open with. Another posible use would be to set
the session name to the timezone, so that you could easily know what
region the hosts you were accessing were in. Yet another use would be
setting the sessions to the username you've logged in as.

I know you can set the title bar to the hostname and such, but it's nearly
as handy as seeing it right on the session tab.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
