I received that report, but it's more a feature request than a bug report.
The thing is, sometimes you want to see the content of the files which were
added or removed. If we drop the -N switch to diff, you won't get it.
Moreover, Kompare doesn't have any room in the interface where it could
display "Only in foo/" type information.

You can display that info in the list box where you show the files side
by side. Please take a look at the attached screenshots/mock-ups.<br>
Since Kompare already offers several options to configure diff
behaviour, can't we have -N as one of those?<br>
That way, it can be enabled if required. It can be be enabled by
default, if you feel that't the usual use-case. (but diff by default
doesn't have that enabled!).<br>
