Clearly
I
am
missing
something
on
my
system
but
AFAIK
this
shouldn't
matter
because
aren't
AppImages
designed
to
be
self
sufficient?

While
appimages
are,
indeed,
supposed
to
be
self-sufficent,
I
believe
(no
proof)
that
that
only
goes
so
far,
and
they
do
not
include
things
which
should
be
an
any
system.
On
my
Gentoo
system,
libstdc++.so.6
is
provided
by
gcc,
but
it
seems
like
something
that
should
be
present
even
on
a
system
without
a
compiler.

What
distribution
are
you
using,
and
is
it
up
to
date?

Also,
I
just
found
there
is
an
open
bug

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=479056,
so
watch
that
space
for
answers
(none
yet,
but
I'm
investigating.)

Hello!

The
bug
ticket
you
pointed
me
to
seems
to
document
the
exact
same
issue
as
I
have
and
I
noticed
the
preson
who
reported
the
issue
is
using
Ubuntu
20.04
which
is
the
"base"
for
my
OS
(Mint
20.3)
so
basically
we
have
pretty
much
the
same
operating
system.

I
update
my
system
on
a
weekly
basis
(automatically)
and
manually
whenever
I
need
to
ensure
the
latest
version
of
the
packages.
As
far
as
I
know
my
system
was
last
updated
3
days
ago.
I
just
tried
to
run
apt-get
and
outside
of
a
few
minor
updates
(such
as
Brave,
etc)
nothing
else
got
updated.
