You say "the last windows update" but Appimage files only run on  
Linux.  Are you having a problem with the Appimage file hanging on  
startup on Linux, or is your problem on Windows?  Different beasts.   
(I'll have to dig more to find the latest status on Appimages.)  Also,  
for appimages, there is no uninstalling to be done, just delete the  
appimage file.
