KMM Report always converts to base currency

I have been using KMM for about a decade, but only just recently
realised that when I open the 'Transactions by category' report or the
'Transactions by Payee', irrespective of the currency that is used,
ALL of the transactions are translated into the base currency. This is
despite de-selecting the 'Convert values to base currency' option in
the report configuration. I really need to see the actual currency
amounts. I filed a bug report
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=423870), but haven't a response
so trying another route.

I have tried this on Kubuntu and PCLOS and the behaviour is the same
so am sure this is an issue with KMM. Am really surprised that this
obvious a bug exists, but seeing as I didn;t see it for the last 10
yrs I guess it is good at hiding.

Please let me know if there is somewhere else I should report this.
