OK! That was the problem. I was looking in /usr/share/apps for
kmm_printchecks. I guess that since I'm using Ubuntu instead of
Kubuntu, a simple file search located it in /usr/share/kde4/apps.
I've added the path to the check_template.html in folder
kmm_printchecks. Now how do I print a check?<br>

After you accept the message please select a valid check template file
using the file selector next to the "Check template file" label. There
are two default check template files installed in
${DATA_INSTALL_DIR}/kmm_printcheck (where ${DATA_INSTALL_DIR} is
usually /usr/share/apps). You can view the two check template files
here [1] [2]. If those templates do not suit your needs then you can
make your custom html file.
