Hi Halla,

Yes you do. I found it later. I apologise for my oversight.

That said, the number of videos is still manageable and can be migrated
easily. We would gladly do it for you. The number of subscribers is still also
manageable in the sense they can all be asked to move to the new channel.

In view of your subscribers on that other site, your main audience is going
to be on YouTube for a long time still, it seems. This means stuff we change on
PeerTube, will not affect your viewership in any significant way now.

Either way, your choice of course. There are certain advantages of going with
a KDE controlled instances however:

* Guarantee that it won't disappear on you suddenly. We have had this happen
several times which is what is leading us to set up our own instances in the
Fediverse, as , when it happens, it is royal pain.

* Control over what you need. If you need to do a live streaming session,
you've got that, if you see a plugin you like, you can ask for it and it will
get installed, etc.

* There is a very tight control over content on the instance : no spam, no
weird conspiranoid channels, no sh*tposting... Only clean KDE-related accounts
are allowed on the instance.

* It makes it easier for us to automate uploading subtitles.

Anyway, just consider it and tell us what you would like to do.

Cheers

Paul
