Hi,

I just had an idea about how to make the usage of all those
great
blending mode easier for the user, so I did the sketch under
to share :
Feel free to comments,

The more customization, the more the user can adapt the
program to behave just like he wants (sort of "making his own
version of the program").

I like it, looks straightforward and easy to understand.
I'd add an entry to access it to the Configure Krita dialog
too.

Wait, please. I actually was working on this but it isn't finished
yet.
I won't remove any blending mode entry from the list but instead
make the blending mode categories expandable and collapsible (That
actually works right now... maybe nobody noticed :D). Than I want to
add another category on top of the list called "favorites" or
something and a button next to each blending mode to add it to the
favorite section. Then you can collapse all other sections and have
only the "favorites" section open.

I really would like to not remove any mode out of the list. It would
make the whole process of experimenting with the modes more
complicated because the user would need to add every mode he wants
to use manually. And since I think that the majority of the users
wont know what each mode is doing, they need to experiment with
them.

The collapse state of the sections needs of course to be saved that
after a restart not every section is open again.
Please be a bit patient... everything will come to an happy end :D
