How to develop Krita plugins?

Hello everybody,

I was trying to learn how to create a Krita plug-in and all the available
information (more than broken links) I found was this:

http://community.kde.org/Krita/Developing_plugins

But it is only for Krita 1.6. Does it work for the latest version?
Is there any other place where I can find more information about this
topic?
