huh? I've tested here with gcc 3.3.3, gcc 3.4.5, gcc 4.0.2, gcc 4.1.0 (rc1) 
and gcc 4.2.0 (SVN trunk of yesterday), and all of them compile the testcase 
properly, without those broken safari hacks.
