It is technically possible, but there is a general discontent with the tab
width we have not only in Dolphin but in KDE in general. AFAIK the consensus so
far is that we generally want wider tabs, but we don't want them to span the
whole width of the window because this has usability disadvantages (e.g.
requires a lot of mouse movement to close multiple tabs in a row).

It would be better to generally improve the tab bar experience in KDE instead
of adding more options.
