SUMMARY
 results between the  right click split action & the split action in the
toolbar is not the same
when a folder is already selected

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. split your view with right click open a second panel corresponding to the
selected folder
2. 
3. split your view via the icon in the toolbar even if a folder has already
been selected do not open a panel corresponding to the selected folder 

OBSERVED RESULT
split your view via the icon in the toolbar open the same panel as the other
one

EXPECTED RESULT
when a folder has been already selected, split icon & right click split have to
give the same result:
open the location of the selected folder in the other panel
