            Bug ID: 464361
Summary: Inputting a file:// URI without the leading root
directory / results in Dolphin misinterpreting it as
                    smb://
    Classification: Applications
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 22.12.1
          Platform: Archlinux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: bars: location
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
          Reporter: spamless.9v5xj at simplelogin.com
                CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

If one types something like "file://foo/bar/baz" into the location bar (note:
there are only two slashes following 'file:' while a correctly formatted URI
has three, eg. "file:///foo/bar/baz" Dolphin pops up a dialog asking the user
to input credentials for a (non-existent) SMB file share, which is... weird.

Dolphin just seems to really hate if you forego the root directory slash -
related bug 456170

Tested on a fresh live install ISO of KDE neon to confirm it's an OOTB issue.
