I agree that the area in which tooltips show up in details view mode has become
too large now to the point that they pop up frequently when a user might not be
interested in seeing the tooltip.

We will still want to show the tooltip when someones points at the file's icon.
This would be confusing otherwise because generally tooltips do appear when an
item is hovered.
