table, went into design view, and increased the maximum
number of allowed characters for each of my fields of type
"text", from 200 to 1000. Went again clicked on the tab to
switch back to data view, I got the below message. On the
basis of the below, I had to discard the changes I had
made, by clicking on "Discard design". You wrote below
that this problem was fixed a long time ago. Are you sure
about that? Or if there is another way to do this aside
from what I did, please let me know.<br>

double checked and I see I had no data in my test table,
that's why I observe different message. I also confused the
property with the "Default value" property. </div>
