[Kexi] Kexi cannot access PostgreSQL databases anymore, neither in Debian nor in Ubuntu

We're already have regular contact with Isaac and Jonathan Riddell 
about packaging :o)

Hmm.  That's odd.

That's intentional.  The PostgreSQL driver has been included in the 
kexi package in Debian since KOffice 1.5.

I'm not seeing what this has to do with Debian.
As far as I can see, that changelog entry is by Jonathan Riddell, and 
is only in the Ubuntu changelog  - it's not present in the Debian 
changelog.

I imagine Jonathan is rather busy with akademy at the moment - perhaps 
you should file a bug on launchpad?
