<p dir="ltr">All my research so far would tend to agree with you that my problems have something to do with static libraries.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Keep in mind that I cannot use git to pull theĀ latest branch. </p>
<p dir="ltr">However if you can give me the URL to pull/create a download of a compressed file I would appreciate it.</p>

Yes, you need Clang (libclang to be exact).<br>

The (static) kdevclangutil library was removed in 5.0 branch, and replaced by<br>
a shared library.<br>
