<p>Creating a temporary directory in a race-free way is what <a href="http://pubs.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/9699919799/functions/mkdtemp.html" class="remarkup-link" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">mkdtemp</a> is for, and it is wrapped by QTemporaryDir. Just creating a temporary directory like <tt style="background: #ebebeb; font-size: 13px;">kdevelop.XXXXXXXX</tt> is really enough, no need for making it "deterministic" in any way. There is no benefit in doing that.</p>
