Seriously, the only race condition I can think of is already handled in the code. When KDevelop launches a copy of itself the app-specific bits are detected in and removed from the input TMPDIR variable.</p>

<p>No, you're not using it wrong as far as I've been able to see. Whether or not the llvm people see this as a bug is another thing, and beyond leaving a vague bug report plus feature request to give backwards-compatible control over the tmp. dir used there isn't much I can do about it.</p>
