<p>IMHO this should be master-only, and we should rather concentrate on getting 5.3 out finally, and then having another 5.4 still this year. Over the years I have become a fan of rolling releases, at least for projects with low number of contributor resources.<br />
Also, given that astyle changed some flags for 3.0 IIRC, there are surely some side-effects when it comes to custom scripts, so we would need to think about forward path for users. So nothing that should be rushed .</p>
