I just noticed something<div>the folder PaxHeaders.<some number> and in that folder is exactly the same files and the project files. But those files have garbage in them</div><div>I have been doing some research about PaxHeaders.# so far I have not come up with anything conclusive. Is PaxHeaders.# suppose to be generated</div>

Hey Guys<div> I am NOT joking around when I tell you about a very strange behavior I keep getting; This really happens</div><div>From the menu</div><div> Project=>"New From Template" then select Category "Qt", then selecting ANY of the <u><b>Project Type</b></u> such as Graphical, Terminal, and Test</div>
<div><br></div><div>The ONLY time I have ever gotten a properly generated cmake system is </div><div><br></div><div>IF I use a "Application Name" qtttt (which I discovered completely by accident today after pull and build of the kdevelop and kdevplatform) </div>
<div><br>As you can see from snapshot1.png , for selection of Project Type "Terminal"</div><div>where I use the application names myterminal and qtttt</div><div><br></div><div>Using ANY OTHER name than "qtttt" such as "myterminal" I get a project named <project name>.kdev4 generated</div>
<div>where all the files generated contain exactly the same garbage as seen in snapshot2.png</div><div><br></div><div>This issue has persisted for at least 3 months now --maybe as much as 7 months.</div><div>I basically pull and build kdevelop and kdeplatform at least one per months and hoped the issue would have gone away. </div>
<div>I do believe I brought up the issue once before when I was testing out all the features of Kdevelop 4 several months ago, but never pursued it since I never use the "Category QT" </div><div><br></div><div>
--Also I noticed Category QT is based on the content of <b><installed directory>/kdevelop4/share/apps/kdevappwizard/templates/</b> that contains the files cmake_plaincpp.tar.bz2, cmake_qt4core.tar.bz2, cmake_qt4core_qtest.tar.bz2, cmake_qt4gui.tar.bz2 (which are placed there when I do a make install of kdevelop4) </div>
<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>It was purely by accident I discovered that using a project named "qtttt" would cause proper generation of projects for Category QT for all the given Project Types</div><div><br>
</div><div>It looks almost as if someone hid a "qtttt" as a magic constant</div><div><br></div><div>Does anyone have any ideas what is going on here?</div><div><br></div><div>Although this has no effect on my usage of the kdevelop 4, it is a bit annoying knowing that this odd things has existed for such a long time.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Michael</div>
