Got an suggestion on irc:
[16:48:33] <apaku|work> cojack: IIRC thats a bug with the katepart, the same happens for one or two other shortcuts occupied by katepart. It should work if you close all editor tabs.
And apaku have right, if everything is closed, F5 on file tree worsk as well, but I can't force it to work other way.

I do it, becasue a lot of editors have this shortcuts by default on the project tree view fe: eclipse, netbeans, jetbrains editors etc...
