I do remote debugging for several years with kdevelop.<br>
Works fine except one problem with BP - when new BP is inserted while<br>
the application runs, kdevelop does not recognize correctly the stopped<br>
thread. For this case just open the "Frame Stack" tab and choose correct<br>
frame manually.<br>

As for your problem - put the BP on the first line of your main BEFORE<br>
you load/connect to the target. This should work.<br>
