Hi Ted,<div><br></div><div>there's currently no way to trigger a reparse of a complete project, except deleting the subdirectory in $HOME/.kdevduchain/ that corresponds to the session id in which you're working. Or deleting the complete .kdevduchain subdirectory (I'm not 100% sure when the usage of session-subdirs was introduced for the duchain).</div>
<div><br></div><div>If your KDE is at least 4.6 you could also build kdevelop/kdevplatform from source to get newer versions and install them into your $HOME.</div><div><br></div><div>Andreas<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

Hello Hamish,<br>
<br>
I was reading your article on the KDevelop 4 DU Chain (<a href="http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.kde.devel.kdevelop/17140)" target="_blank">http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.kde.devel.kdevelop/17140)</a> but still had some questions.<br>
<br>
First of all let me say that KDevelop 4 is fantastic! It took me a while to get used to the transition from KDevelop 3, but I can now fully appreciate the work that was done here.<br>
<br>
I am currently using KDevelop 4.1 as I am for the moment frozen at Fedora 13 for development purposes. (I could probably update at some point).<br>
<br>
<b>I am wondering if there is a way in 4.1 to have the entire DU Chain be updated (like Regenerate Ctags in 3.x). Is that a feature that may be in a future release or already available in 4.3?</b><br>
<br>
Thank you for you time,<br>
Ted Tash
