See the tutorials on <a href="http://doc.trolltech.com/4.6/index.html" target="_blank">http://doc.trolltech.com/4.6/index.html</a> which will give<br>
you a nice introduction. But this is mainly the GUI part of Qt programming,<br>
that you won't need so much when programming in KDevelop. There you more need<br>
an idea about what the Qt Core library provides you with, and how to use the<br>
KDevplatform framework.<br>

For KDevelop:<br>
You can look at some of the "simpler" plugins. For example the Snippet one<br>
(kdevplatform/plugins/snippet), documentswticher, grepview... Especially the<br>
latter could need some help so maybe you could get started by improving it?<br>
There are some bugreports for it. And things like context menu (find word under<br>
cursor / find selection) are missing. And well, as soon as you use it you'll<br>
probably find more places which could be improved. Just an idea.<br>
<br>
These plugins would give you an overview of how KDevelop integrates plugins,<br>
how one can add toolviews and utilize them.<br>
<br>
The more complex parts like Debugger, VCS and Language Support integration are<br>
harder to get into. But for language integration, I would say the CSS plugin<br>
would be a good starting point. It has a small code base.<br>
