You must have been running a 2.1.x version.
Kdevelop 3.0 stores the settings correctly.

It is Alpha because it doesn't do all the things (features) we would like
it to do.<br>
But it is stable so you can use it on a daily basis.<br>
Regarding the professional attitude, take KDevelop 3.0 for a spin and then
