Does the original version work right with you? It doesn't on my machine
(errors on 'cd src') :((
But it works as I expect using the patch: may it broke anything else?

Fix the attribute path
I had the same problem and proposed on 30th march the attached patch to
use absolute path instead of relative ones, but it seems it hasn't got
any success among the kdevelopes ;)
Can you apply it and tell me if it works for you?
