Hi Alberto,

Attaching to process works for me in latest KDevelop. The documentation 
describes how it should work: 
https://userbase.kde.org/KDevelop5/Manual/Debugging_programs#Attaching_the_debugger_to_a_running_process
Unfortunately, as the documentation explains, attaching to a process may require 
modifying system security settings, which requires sudo privileges.
