[Bug 68015] Variables/Watch Window closes on first view in IDEA1 mode

The ruby debugger has exactly the same problem, and I had assumed it was 
unusable in IDEAl mode, so I've configured KDevelop to start in tab view 
mode. I didn't realise you could 'pin' the Variable Tree with the little 
square thing - that's a big improvement because tabbed mode was very 
cluttered.

Is it possible to detect if KDevelop is in IDEAl mode, and programatically pin 
the Variable Tree widget at the start of a debugging session, and then unpin 
it when the debugger exits?
